Chewy oatmeal chocolate chips cookies

This oatmeal chocolate chips cookie recipe is an inspiration from America’s Test Kitchen, with slight variations. They really know what they are doing, so if you are dreaming (just like I did) about those huge oatmeal cookies from the American movies, this might be a good recipe to start with. I used chocolate chips instead of raisins, but I am planning to use a combination of both real soon.

I did have to bake it a bit longer, one reason can be that I did not listen to their advice to not used rolled oats, another reason can be the conversion to grams. But it did turn out chewy and just like in the movies!
