Marinated trout potato salad

Trout is one of my favorite fishes. But sometimes can be really hard to find it fresh. So I invented this recipe for the marinated version, so that I can still enjoy this fish and it is a nice an easy source of protein.

  1. Boil and cube the potatoes.
  2. Clean the trout for bones and shred it.
  3. Cut one shallot really thin and wash it down with water in a strainer so that it is gentler for the stomach.
  4. Cut a corn or just use it straight from the can. I don’t weigh it, just put to taste.
  5. Finley cube 1-2 pickels.
  6. Finley chop some dill.
  7. Add 1-2 tbsp of sour cream.
  8. Leave it in the fridge for a few hour and it is ready to be served as is.
